Whether you are a beginner wanting to dip your toe into the yoga pond or a yogi wanting to take your asana practice to the next level, this class is for you. This gentle class will focus on stretching all the major muscle-tendon groups—neck, shoulders, chest, trunk, lower back, hips, legs, and ankles to help increase flexibility. Stretching is a physical movement intended to lengthen a muscle to improve flexibility and range of motion. Stretching has many benefits, including improved circulation, joint mobility, and muscle elasticity. Much of the class will be seated or on the floor. A variety of props will be used to help assist in getting a better stretch.
